Cookie Notice

Last Updated and Effective Date: 5/28/206

This Cookie Notice explains how HumanSide uses cookies and similar tracking technologies when you use our Site or other tools and emails or other messaging and is meant to be read alongside our Privacy Notice. Together, these documents explain our practices, so please review them carefully.

For simplicity, terms used here have the same definitions as in our Privacy Notice unless otherwise noted below.

Cookies and How We Use Them

In this Cookie Notice, "cookies" refers collectively to cookies, web beacons, pixels, session replay scripts, and other similar tracking technologies. A cookie is a small file placed on your device by a website or third-party service that collects and shares information about your browsing activity.

HumanSide, our service providers, and other third parties rely on cookies to operate and improve our Site, understand how you engage with our web content, and serve you advertisements. The cookies we and our partners use collect information about your use of our Services and other websites and mobile applications, including your device identifiers, IP address, web browser and mobile network information, pages viewed, time spent on pages or in mobile apps, and links clicked. Some of the information collected through cookies includes your Personal Information, as described in the Privacy Notice.

The cookies used on our Site fall into the following categories:

Essential

These cookies are essential for our Site to operate properly. Without these cookies, certain Services on our Site cannot be provided. This category of cookies should not and cannot be disabled.

Functional

These cookies allow our Site to remember choices you make and provide enhanced, personalized features. If you disable these cookies, some or all of these features may not function properly.

Analytics

These cookies help us understand how visitors interact with our Site by collecting and reporting information about usage patterns, traffic sources, and Site performance. The information collected is used to improve how our Site works. If you disable these cookies, we will be unable to monitor and improve the performance of our Site.

Targeted Advertising

These cookies are used by us and our advertising partners to build a profile of your interests and deliver advertisements that are relevant to you on our Site and across other websites and applications. They work by uniquely identifying your browser and device. If you disable these cookies, you will still see advertisements, but they will be less relevant to your interests.

Your Cookie Rights and Choices

HumanSide respects your rights and choices regarding how your Personal Information is Processed with cookies. As discussed in the Privacy Notice, you have the right to opt out of the Processing of your Personal Information for “sales,” “sharing,” “targeted advertising,” and “profiling.”HumanSide provides the following tools and procedures to allow you to exercise your rights and choices:

  • Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information Link. As described in the Privacy Notice, you may opt out of the activities we engage in that constitute “sales,” “sharing,” “targeted advertising,” or “profiling” by clicking the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link on the footer of our Site.

  • Cookie Banner. You can use our Cookie Banner to accept or refuse cookies that are not Essential cookies. If you would like to change your cookie preferences, clear your browser's cookies and data before the next time you visit our Site and you will receive a new cookie banner prompt.

  • Opt-Out Signals. We honor opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control as valid requests to opt-out of the sale or sharing of Personal Information or targeted advertising. Our system is configured to automatically detect and respond to such signals from browsers or devices that support this technology.

“Do Not Track” signals are similar in function to Global Privacy Control in that they make options available on your browser to tell operators of websites that you do not wish to have your online activity tracked. However, this technology has not been universally adopted and its functionality across the internet is inconsistent. Therefore, our Site operates no differently if these “Do Not Track” signals are enabled or disabled.

  • Third Party Opt-Outs. Some organizations, like Google, provide users the ability to opt-out of their cookies through the settings on their websites. Please review the applicable guidance provided by these organizations for more information.

  • Browser and Device Opt-Outs. Check your browser and mobile device for settings that control ads based on your interactions with the applications on your device.

Please note: some of the opt-out tools in this section are provided by third parties. HumanSide does not control or operate these programs or the choices they offer and cannot guarantee their effectiveness.

If you disable cookies, some of the features of our Services may not function properly. Be aware that any preference set through the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link or our Cookie Banner will be lost if you delete all cookies, because those preferences rely on an “opt-out cookie” to be retained.
